Forty - Magical Child
Jul. 29th, 2012 05:06 pm[Bob is the quietest, most studious child you come across. He's unfailingly polite, decent to everyone and fiercely protective to those who need it. He's also the kid who gets into fights whether or not he loses and he's small enough that he loses most of them.
His best subjects surround nature and he tends to sleep outside if he can. He tells stories if he's listened to about his mother or things he's read in books.
If he's bullied, he pretends he doesn't understand their logic and any verbal insult is ignored. Violence works better but only until he can extricate himself or he gives up and takes the beating.
He's never reported anyone, but does tend to not leave the bullies alone afterwards, urging them to change their ways. This has had mixed success, but he never gives up.]
Excuse me, but has anyone seen my copy of Don Quixote?
[Feel free to spam him in the forests/grounds as he spends most of his time there.]

Thirty Four - Maintain the Right
May. 28th, 2012 07:05 pm[Bob is in his usual get-up, Mountie uniform under a coat.] We need to make sure the civilians are out of the line of fire. Anyone not going to be on the offensive, talk to your nearby officers and ask if there are any shelters. Stay in pairs or threes and if you get lost or under attack, keep your communicator on, so that others can find you.
Try to stay in the light and ask anyone you encounter to identify themselves. Only arm yourself if you've been trained in the weapon you want to use. However safe you feel with a gun in your hand, it's an illusion if you don't know how to use it.
[Private to Benton]
Let me know if you want to meet up, son.

Twenty Seven - Mister Mischievious Camper
Jul. 22nd, 2010 08:34 pm[If you come across Robert, you'll find him polite, calm and helpful. You'll also find him looking longingly at the woods. He's finding the whole thing rather underwhelming. Heaven knows why his parents decided to send him here.
In a lull, he's edging closer to the edge. Counselors can intercept him, campers can go with him.
Multiple threads are welcome, he'll be trying all day.]

Well, I obviously can't speak for those on the, uh, bottom of the foodchain, but I rather enjoyed myself! Opening doors was quite the achievement, when you're a dog. Half wolf.
Almost a shame it had to end, but I certainly appreciated the break from the harsher realities of this place.
Everyone make it through all right?

Eighteen - Plague
Jun. 9th, 2010 07:39 pm[Private to the infirmary]
I'm ill. A hard cough, temperature and... [
he must be sick, he's starting to trail off
.] Well, given the murmurings I'd better report in. [OOC: He's gotten the plague off Armand, unfortunately. He's been treating the cough with herbal remedies but at this point he's found it impossible to ignore.]
Fifteen: [Spam]
May. 18th, 2010 07:47 am[The people on the fifth floor may have noticed that number eight has been busier than normal. But even if they hadn't noticed that, they might have noticed the not insignificant plume of black smoke which turned into white. No, no one has elected a new pope, there is now a home made sauna sweatlodge in Bob's cabin.
This is how he's dealing, by sweating his way into a vision. He'll have no objections to visitors, just don't expect him to answer how he is.]

Nine - Now That I'm A Man...
May. 2nd, 2010 11:00 amWell, that's one way to break the ice. Especially after the tension of the last couple of weeks.
I don't believe I caused overmuch trouble, but if you find a discarded flare on the second level, I apologise, it was merely a distraction and I removed most of the gunpowder.
Ned? I believe I am in a better position to discuss the reasons behind my being here, so whenever you're available, I'd like to get started.
Damon? How are you?

Eight - Right, Update Time
Apr. 30th, 2010 02:10 pm[He settles himself up in front of his camera, looking like a plaided mini talkshow host.] All right. As far as I've been able to discover, we were sent here as adults, and due to some kind of, um, temporal anomaly, I think it's called... Doctor? Our child selves are here instead.
Which is fine, apart that we don't actually deserve to be here and our 'wardens' seem utterly unprepared to deal with us, for the most part.
I... don't think our parents are going to worry about us, but if
[Added after the Admiral's announcement, he's slightly irked.] 'Bob' is an old man's name! But who is Ned?

you
have any worries you can call me, ok? We can sort this out together. [He gives a reassuring smile.][Added after the Admiral's announcement, he's slightly irked.] 'Bob' is an old man's name! But who is Ned?
Seven - Um... This is NOT CANADA!
Apr. 29th, 2010 02:33 pm[A twelve year old has activated his computer and his tone is very polite but underneath it's 'I am freaking the hell out, help!'] Uh, excuse me? Could... could anyone possibly, if you don't mind, tell me where I am?
It seems to be a cabin, but outside? I look out the window and there's no floor! And I don't recognise the stars!
Perhaps you know my parents? Their names are George and Martha and um... I'm Robert, so if you see them, would mind directing them... to ah... hold on!
[He leaves the field of vision and there are the sounds of a short burst of running, a quiet chant of 1... 2... 3... and running back] To Level Five, room eight!
[Suddenly excited!] Hey, are we on a space ship?

Five - Dear Diary
Apr. 17th, 2010 06:07 pmWell, that was an interesting few days. I am assured that the deceased will return to us?
I would like to thank Misato for permisson for the use of weaponry and the various department heads for use of their supplies for trap creation. I believe they're all gone, however, rest assured that if any remain, they're not lethal.
And speaking of which, apologies to the young woman who I captured, I hope your wounds are healing. [Addendum: She seems to be recovering.]
Thankfully, we are on our way once more, and with some time, we can put the ill-incidents behind us. Healing should begin for us all.

Three or Waiting Makes Bob Rambly
Apr. 13th, 2010 11:45 amYou know, when my mother was young, a mere nineteen years old, she was a teacher in an Inuit village when a fire stripped through the area and surrounded the village. Their only means of escape was through a river that had been torn by rapids.
Most of the adults died because they were too afraid to brave the water.
My mother was supported by an idea. With this idea, she led the children deeper into the river. The children clung to her as she held onto the roots of a tree, as it burned above them. The heat was so intense that most of her hair melted, she ended up with second degree burns across her upper body.
If she had let go, she and the children, would have all been swept away. She didn't let go. They survived. Ask my mother and she would have told you that it wasn't the river that saved them. It was an idea.
Thomas Paine once wrote: 'The harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly. It is dearness that gives everything its value.'
OOC: Oh, yeah, this is so directed at the Master's guys, though if anyone from the Resistance or the Barge want to be uplifted, Bob has no objections!
